Totally agree, it would enhance all other classes; being able to create maths applications, filtering through historical data, the list is pretty much endless.

Interesting article, and a great concept. I'd imagine that reporters / journos would be quite adept with technology, but I wonder if a lot of them have the ability to be good hackers / programmers. It sounds like their professor has two ver

Looks good, but I'd like too know more about how it works on the homepage. A few things: 1. Do you text a specific number, and then it broadcasts it to the entire network? If not, I think that'd be great, because when replying to the messag

100% agree with this. It's all relative. It's completely based on cost of living. In my opinion.

Hey man, So I'd consider myself having a very similar skillset. Same sorts of interests, etc. What I basically do, is learn a few things to keep me going with money (I launched iPadCaseFinder.com, sold that 2 months later for $x,xxx -- and

Wow, a lot lower than I would of thought it would be. Do you think the quality of the article is also a factor of the amount of hits? Or just time of week?

I definitely think the design could of been cheaper. You have to hire people for their strengths and it seems these guys' strength is design. I would then outsource the PSD2HTML to a company like P2H.com, or a freelance (who would probably

I think it's not really the money that will be the motivator here, I think it will be the 'public' nature of it. If you're seeing that I'm failing, you may think I'm week, or I may want to impress you. I think it's about fail / impress vs.

This is brilliant. I love how he shared his milestones, and costings. What do you guys think of the app? Do you think he will get venture or angel?

I'm looking for a technical co-founder. Excellent in Ruby, specifically Ruby on Rails. I'm doing the marketing, project management, running the show, idea development. I guess the business guy role. The startup is basically a way of connect

I learnt HTML at 10. My grandad taught me that, then I went on and used w3-schools to continue learning. I think that's a very good starting place.

Hey, cool idea in theory. But I'm not a huge fan. The markup it generates isn't really that clean, and the overall process isn't very fluid. I personally believe that we will not get to a point where this can be done by a machine for at lea

Agreed, I met a few of my business partners on the 'net. Then proceeded to meet them in London earlier this year. They're great friends now, and I'm sure they'll continue to be for the rest of my life.
