I was initially skeptical about self-driving cars but I've been won over by Waymo's careful and thoughtful approach using visual cues, lidar, safety drivers and geo-fencing. That said I will never trust my life to a Tesla robotaxi

Computers were initially seen in the 60's and 70's as corporate and scientific tools. Many couldn't imagine one day we would have them in the home. Once that happened, people used computers for all sorts of non-profitable end

If you're right, then we should not use AI in elementary and high schools as a learning tool. I suspect most people think we should.

I'm a retired computer programmer. All my time is free time. I'm using AI as a cognitive amplifier. I'm learning at a much faster rate than I would without AI. I don't have to waste time doing google searches and reading

I'm sorry to hear that. Like most young people you'll probably get over it and move on with your life. You might then find in your elderly years that it all comes rushing back and you have to live it over again. ChatGPT says this

I'm a senior citizen and I use it sometimes to explain what is happening to me as I age. For example, I noticed myself doing "excessive rumination" about the long gone past, which I attributed to the near-dystopian nightmare

Musk is not threatening to take away grandma's social security in Europe so I'd be surprised if they were. They're just not buying them. 93% of Germans said after the Nazi salute they'd never buy a Tesla. Musk just built

Electric cars are doing fine. Sales are up. It's just Tesla that is going down.

Blame Elon Musk and his Nazi salutes and Hitler apologist retweets for that. It can't be much simpler to understand.

I'm positive there are great people working at X, xAI, Tesla and SpaceX who are suffering every day through no fault of their own, hoping that Musk will come to his senses. Tesla right now is an especially tragic case for those whose l
