Modems (LTE modules) often have GPS and that's where it's handled in almost all phones. AFAICT, the LTE switch disables GPS.

AFAIK, a SIM card itself has a card id (ICCID), which should not be changed and is not used often. The subscriber id (IMSI) is in the "application" layer of the card and theoretically could be changed by the provider, or as a spec

YMMV, but yes, with full supplies it usually takes about 3 days to deplete sugars and switch to fat. If you're not used to keto, switching may be physiologically hard. Gradually transitioning from carbs to fat, and then or later to fas

Most compression algorithms have a limited data reference window (dictionary size) - tens to hundreds of MB being typical upper limits. If duplicated data is further apart, it gets compressed again. If the data isn't pre-compressed, or

Note the important cleverness - the delay is set by compiler, so the delay is only as big as it's useful and no need to change ISA. Architectures with ISA-specified delay has significant issues as you mention.

I guess I'm lucky I'm in Europe, where the majority of sites do not use recaptcha (I think it's illegal under GDPR). A minority of sites I use try to load it, but don't care if it fails, and only a few irritating sites I

Standard warranty is 80% capacity after 25 years. At that rate you would have 50% capacity after 75 years. Solar cells should last a long time. The panel itself will probably fail sooner - especially cheap ones made from plastic.

That's what we get for externalizing costs. It's not hard to track down sources, but network operators usually let it be, hence the incentives are probably counter-productive.

It really is nice when you can afford to have the latest doubling of memory, and do things you couldn't do easily before. Maybe run an entire DC on your computer. Works very well while you're on the upper end. However, that does n
