That's the opposite for me, I can go back to a good SP game but I can't stand playing the same MP game for more than a few hours per year. Multiplayer is not pinnacle of gaming.

It's more than a bunch of headers, the Source SDK contains the code for both `client.dll` and `server.dll`. They contain everything that is not the graphic/audio/net engine. I assume the same thing applies to goldsrc.
