The post is very meaningful. You seem to care about developers avoiding UB. Exploring how compilers warn or don't warn for some of these cases is very meaningful - maybe it can lead to new warnings, or better tools so that developers c

The "this looks like a small quantity" comparison is wrong, because it's pointing to the lowest quartile, which has a cutoff which looks like 0 to <8 or so. While the histogram count compared to is using a bit of 0 to <

Uv is never going to be a drop in replacement. But they are already improving upon pip when it comes to cache and fast install. Uv will replace pip I think even if it doesn't have exactly the same features.

See Neovim v0.10 changelog for how they use hyperlinks/OSC 8: https://gpanders.com/blog/whats-new-in-neovim-0.10/#hyperlin...

Hyperlinks refers to "OSC 8" which is an escape code for making clickable links. for GNU Screen (released versions in my distro) this is an unknown escape and is stripped, tmux "passes it on" to the surrounding terminal

Tmux does the same job as screen. I didn't want to before, but now in the current year I switched from gnu screen to tmux, keeping the key bindings the same. Ending a 15 year or so streak. The reason is that tmux supports more modern f
