I've seen Algebra:Ch0 around but haven't picked it up yet. Thanks for the recommendation!

Personally I find category theory to be a red herring when it comes to Haskell and really programming. I feel that people learn a bit of CT, then quote it endlessly as a sort of elevation of programming from lowly code-slinging to a high m

BTW, a little late here... but my comment was actually intended as pure sarcasm over the fact that anyone would so angrily scoff at the idea of paying $20 to a fellow developer and Haskell enthusiast, who is just trying to help others enjoy

Support channel is where I go when I can't access my account, or want to submit a feature request. Anyway, it'd be awesome if someone posted a technical response here, but I don't expect them to.

Github employees are here on HN, and just as likely to answer here vs a tweet or whatever.

It seems a certainty to me that github will be breached one of these days, and all internal data (i.e., private repos) made public. On that day, so many companies will inadvertently become open source! Do we have any info on what steps git

Like you, I am also sick and tired of people trying to come up with easy-to-use tools for learning Haskell. I love the language, and feel that if someone wants to learn it in a "sandbox", then there's no point. I can't

Sniff test, nothing. This is absolutely ludicrous. 20 hour work-days (9am->5am) for months straight??? Gimme a break. You'd be hallucinating on the second week. For the life of me I don't understand how this humble-brag is

Absolutely beautiful work. Love it. At the same time, though, as a commentary by the acclaimed Banksy, isn't "Disneyland is over-commercialized hell" a cliched theme at this point?

Maybe 255 characters is too long also. Let's just have a 10 character max: "Got big" or "Succeeded" In fact, we could represent it as a bit-field, and then get the story in one byte: 0x01: Made a key product/m

From the headline to the article itself, I prefer to think of it as " Entrepreneurs Get Hardcode About Hardware." YC vets and funds -- the innovation belongs to the teams.

Truth is, this service never quite delivered on their promise. When my last two startups closed shop, it took shutdownify over 3 days to process the first one, and the second was still a full two days to get up and running. At that point

Kinda pathetic though, isn't it? A group of people devote their lives to a product, working round-the-clock for years, and then reap ( relatively ) tiny rewards compared to the money man.

>There’s a point in every business where you can double down on the risk, you can exit, or you can raise money. Doubling down on risk: does that mean grow the product and company scope using existing funds only?
