Yes, I use Zotero (a reference manager) which uses WebDav for file sync to a Nextcloud server. You can also use davfs to mount a Nextcloud share.

There's also some effort in the FreeCAD forums to adapt SolveSpace's assembly functionality for FreeCAD.

It'll almost surely take less time, part of the reason 0.17 took so long was because the Part Design Workbench had compatibility-breaking changes with a whole new workflow. It's probably overly optimistic but some of us are pushin

Indeed, now that the Part Design overhaul is complete, Assembly improvements will be one of the main targets for the 0.18 dev cycle.

There was a potential Google Summer of Code project to work on this last year[1], but it doesn't look like there were any mentors or applicants this year. 1. https://freecadweb.org/wiki/IPython_notebook_integration

Hopefully it's a little more pleasant for you this time around. Besides ~6800 commits of improvements in 0.17, we also upgraded our geometry/topology kernel OpenCASCADE from 6.8.0 -> 7.2.0 and this has resulted in a lot of impr

Most of the mass in plants comes from the air, and most of the mass of soil loss is from erosion and runoff, so this wouldn't avert loss, just reconnect mass flows for the process for natural soil generation, while not altering the pro

Like the other people who have commented, my intuition says the extreme amounts of thermal energy stored in the earth combined with its colossal mass means it won't make any difference any time soon. I was curious, though, so I did the

The development is moving along at a good rate [1] so if you haven't tried it lately, give 0.16 or even 0.17-dev a shot if you're brave enough to try compiling [2][3][4], there have been 4500+ commits since 0.16 with a lot of impr

In traditional pumped storage, you use the pressure of water pumped up some elevation to generate electricity by spinning a turbine as it falls back down. In this instance, you use the pressure of the bottom of the ocean and pump the water
