I recently rode the electric share bikes in Beijing. It was a fantastic experience. Pick up from anywhere, leave anywhere. Share bikes are getting huge in China, sometimes causing a mess. But the white electric share bikes in Beijing were a

I hope this helps - I always get frustrated when on mobile I'm watching the disqus logo waiting for discussions to load. That can't be a good emotion to link to their brand.

Just scan through the google docs blog. You'll see lots of steady iteration of new features. It gets better and better. I use it daily and also find the speed and reliability excellent. It feels like they are making great strides behin

I remember being on the main irc channel when both qtest and the quake 1 official shareware was released. It was absolute insanity and great fun. Such an exciting time.

I think the IPFS vision is fantastic. The article misses the main advantage when it tries to say that IPFS would help corporations like Google/Youtube/Netflix. Big players will always be able to expertly run powerful distributed C

Why can't you track where they spend the ransom money via the blockchain? Couldn't this be used to identify the criminals?

I'm an Android not an iOS user, so maybe I don't get the significance of push notifications. Isn't this simply the kind of annoying notification that productivity experts tell us to turn off? I certainly have configured all d

Maybe for an advanced use you hit speed issues. But Google Sheets has transformed many collaborative functions in our organisation. Especially at budget time. The ability to have concurrent access to the latest version always is wonderful.

I have all my digital life on dropbox, a few hundred gig. One of my greatest fears is that thousands of files might disappear without me noticing for years. I use selective sync and twice I was looking for something that has disappeared and

At least it is a form of "sharpening the saw" (to quote Covey). You are still in the mode of thinking about how to be a better worker. There are a whole lot of time sinks on the internet that are much much worse ways of wasting ti

Not necessarily. Ubuntu have "enablement stacks" kernel updates for the LTS releases. These are more than just upstream patches. For example, 12.04 LTS release had 12.04.4 with a backported kernel as a standard update. https:

If only there was a convenient way to get from one URL to another URL! I'm sure Tim Berners-Lee stubs his toe every time someone posts a non-clickable link on the web.

Actually reading self-help and productivity books is a great way to invigorate your productivity. That is why productivity blogs are so popular. I will happily read or reread a productivity book just to be inspired to get my game on.
