I have been thinking about leaving github for a while. It is a very good platform, but as time passes, I realized I wanted to be more in control of my projects. Yesterday, I moved about 250 repos away to a gitea instance. Transition require

I have been using ecto for some time now, and its approach is very good. It is just some syntax sugar to help to write safe SQL from elixir. There is no magic like cache or anything from complex ORM and it has been the best experience in ma

I'd really like Firefox to stay a viable browser. It is now for me, but I fear it might decline to the point it won't be. As an open source contributor I have to say that Firefox is very hard to contribute to, compared to somethin

Yeah, but that's hard, because imagine you have an edge with UUID 1, then you edit the history which lead into that edge being cut in half. Which one of the two edges has UUID 1? The answer is complicated because if you have a chamfer

I like FreeCAD but it has one major issue (compared to something like OnShape which I use now), it doesn't have a smart naming topology. For example, you create a cube, you make a hole in it (not fully through), and then you chamfer on

I think the best thing about being a freelance is that I can have the luxury of not having an alarm and I wake up when I wake up. I put all my meeting with customers in the afternoon. Since I stopped having an alarm in the morning, I'm
