Ohh ok. Got it. That seems fair. Similar to a Satellite TV antenna. I get good tv reception even in cloudy conditions. I have lost reception in very heavy rainy conditions only. So I guess the same is true for Starlink too.

As a manager of the guy, yes. How reliable or accurate do you think those notes are? How secure is having someone outside your company writing code that runs inside your servers?

As an Indian, this absolutely amuses me. There are a lot of gullible rural bumpkins out there. It is entirely possible that some recruiter made this guy do this, under the condition that once he is accepted to the job, he will have to pay 1

I am building a web application (FastAPI+PostgreSQL+Angular) that includes some user scripting. Any suggestions for libraries that do this sort of thing, but have an option to be integrated into existing apps?

I always felt Azure was costlier than AWS. My perspective is of a solo developer. Does Azure justify its higher prices in the enterprise space with other value adds? Or is it the "no one gets fired for using IBM" thing?

I was always taught (by extensive reading on SO) that implementing a queue system on top of PGSQL is bad. So, for small (but critical nonetheless) use cases, do any of you use your own custom built queues on top of a database?
