I kinda like it, and I don't get all the negative comments. I've been a user of folding bikes for a couple of years and, while easier to store/get into buildings with/carry around, they are still quite heavy, tricky to f

Maybe the bending is a consequence of a better than average shock proof design. Not an apple fan boy here but I find hard to believe that a top selling phone would go on the market without extensive mechanical testing.

Right. The striking thing is that op's decision to choose the more expensive solution is now both confirmed by the fact that the solution was better because more expensive and by the fact that it works. An email from the cheaper compan

3d printing is a way to extend a product's life. But I think it will prove useful for a repair guy/technician rather than for a hobbyist. Making small series of spares for a unsupported product is profitable vs used spares market.

How can you hate the weezer buddy holly clip which came with windows 95? It was by far the best file on the windows 95 cd.

Same here. A generator was posted a few days ago and it took me a couple of startups to realize this was not a (far) better generator. Great initiative though.

Why not (sounds easy eh?) go one application at a time? Are there interactions between apps? Maybe you can start with documenting all the interaction (~ api). Then you'd go deeper in each app.

Pretty useful to play games designed for the 8086 on a 286 or 386. Alley cat with the turbo was more like alley cat on meth.

I really suck at pretending I am not. Well I am more touchy about wrong culture and wrong fit than about culture fit.

"Culture fit is really important." We could discuss hours about culture fit but this might reveal an uncontroled bias on your (remarkable) bias free hiring process because it is highly subjective. How do you ensure a recruiter ass

Don't put a bad restaurant review on yelp if you don't know how to cook. I understand that the difference here is that the reviewer is also a dev, but it does not change much since he put this up as a user.
