A malicious party could have access to OP's other accounts, maybe OP reuses passwords. It's in the realm of plausibility that they are being cautious not to alert the attacker. If they/authorities want to use the opportunit

I recently got a docsis 3.1 modem, you have to call and activate the MAC. They just used the same IP, conveniently enough.

My modem has had the same IP for nearly 10 years now! It's the same even after several moves, one to a new county. Super convenient, but that's the nicest thing I have to say about Comcast. Boy I wish there were other options.

The author makes a big fuss about the old UNIX documentation using sigseg instead of sigsegv.. but then completely ignores the comment in the same line that does use the word violation

I built a similar LCD projector when I was in high school! Same basic principal as is used here, shine light through a bare LCD panel (mine was from a broken laptop), add some fresnel lenses and a focusing lens and throw it all in a box. P

If I might ask, when was the last time you have D a shot? Available documentation has improved recently, though I think there's a big need for improved tooling docs.. in my case, it took forever for me to figure out how packages work

I remember way back when this project was getting started (around 2005), I hosted a public use Sage instance that was linked to on their website! I was in high school at the time

That list only refers to changes since the previous release.. not a complete feature list... And go is not an interpreted language. You don't need go tools to run precompiled go binaries. Just like with C, you don't need gcc to

I would like to second the multiplatform suggestion. I want to be able to see my notes on any of my devices, not just Mac/ios, otherwise it's just not worth it to me. Your software looks great! And I would happily fork over ca

Likely they are still working with other countries so they can sell to consumers in those regions. Lots of bureaucracy to deal with I imagine. This is pre-release anyway, so hopefully it will become available outside of the US soon.

You're spot on that D is lacking a batteries-included IDE, but there are some good options available. D in emacs works very well, but you'll have to put some work into it. Spacemacs ( https://www.spacemacs.org/ ) m

Not having active development isn't necessarily a good reason to avoid something, since it still works perfectly well.. There are only so many features needed in a debugger and security is not a real concern.
