I feel like something like Blitz.js is a better comparison instead of Next.js. Next.js is still very frontend focused and does not have a lot of key components needed by a full framework like ORM, Authentication etc.

Seems like you are basing your opinions on some misconceptions. Let me try to clear that for you. "CSS modules still seem to solve every problem Tailwind solves, and better." - Not necessarily true. Unlike css modules, tailwind re

They do have https://flareact.com/ and although it is still early, it is very promising. They have used patterns from Next.js so it is easy for developers to migrate.

Well that strategy works, till it doesn't. There is a difference between being rich and being wealthy, and that is sustainability of wealth. You can live your life and still contribute to long term wealth growth. What if you need to pa

Genuinely surprised that the price is only $29 (or $25 if you get 4) coming from Apple.

While that makes sense, Apple's recent changes with the iPad Keyboard case adding a trackpad makes me think that they might have something else brewing for the long term. Time will tell, but I would love to see more MacOS applications

Photography is art. It is not meant to be a realistic as-is interpretation of the scene, rather a representation that the artist (photographer) wants you to see. It has always been like this, even before computational photography was a thin

I will guarantee you that an expert C# developer could write the same system in same or less amount of time than Elixir with Blazor or even SignalR. C# ecosystem is so big and robust at this time that almost all big problems have already be

The surface book touchpad hardware itself might be as good as the trackpad in Macbook's but the software support in windows is not even close. Almost everything but UWP apps and some other first party windows apps have jittery scrollin

I have not tried x1 carbon but literally all lenovo laptops I have tried have horrible trackpads (palm rejection issues on linux, weird tracking). MacOS is a good OS because it has a very human centric UI and it makes me very productive. Vi

As .net core is a full rewrite, all these optimizations are .net core specific, so porting them isn't going to be a easy thing.

But if you think about it, the use case for almost 80% of the people out there that use laptops or desktops is for web browsing and office work (text editing etc) which phones should be able to handle well.
