I saw the restrictions and thought it wasn't going to be all that useable in its current form. Then I saw the c64 emulator in the samples. Not nearly as limited as I was thinking. This is a really good project.

Where I live, the banks won't give you a draught without the recipient's name on it. So you leave the dealership with cashier check in hand and then what? You have to go back and cash it yourself before getting a new one and headi

I like the use of emojis. At first they don't make sense. But as soon as you realize what one does, the others immediately fall in line.

I worked with a guy who used baby sign with all his babies. He swears by it because the baby is more able to specify what it is they want, instead of crying while you try 5 things before giving them the thing they want. His kids grew up sm

I don't know where exactly the dividing line is, but homesteading and hobby farming differentiate at some point. If you are regularly buying groceries, it's probably a hobby farm.

That's straight up how Lisp macros work. It is alien technology after all.

Good question. Let's try it. Here is some Lisp code I know cannot be duplicated as-is in C: (defun num-atoms(list) (cond ((null list) 0) ((atom list) 1) (t (+ (num-atoms (car list)) (num-atoms (cdr list

I just tried a couple, and they no longer work. Well, maybe with some additional fuzzing. I think they are working on these issues in real-time (it is beta, after all...).

I found a great example to demonstrate. I asked how to transpile Lisp to C. It perfectly described what transpiling is, said (correctly) that not all Lisp structures will translate directly into C, so those parts of the code may be broken,

It does parts of the code really well, I noticed. It's usually toward the end that it starts messing up, and especially the inputs are bad. The descriptive text is nearly always spot on, which makes the code errors a bit wonky. I have

I noticed some weird things with its code writing. A lot of the time the text is spot on, but the code doesn't actually do what the text says. And sometimes the input examples are totally wrong, even when the function does exactly what

Ah... so it's the challenge, and not whether anyone will ever use it. In the same vein, there's an old DOS assembler trick from the late 80's through the mid 90's - remap INT 20h (which was a 1-byte opcode to exit the cu

Okay. The link I found had an interesting angle because it discusses insulin in diabetes. But this is a study about making a commercial beverage by adding grapes to help ferment it. Definitely didn't need to be a pdf.
