I would say chemo and cancer is very individual, you and doctors will look at the statistics and be pessimistic, they because they don't want to give you false expectations, since setbacks are probably harder to fight than no progress.

Easiest to use paint is probably black 3.0, just apply coats until desired result. Have black 2.0 and it is quite black, but would like something blacker.
