At least one link/benchmark I saw said the ANE can be 7x faster than GPU (Metal / MPS), https://discuss.pytorch.org/t/apple-neural-engine-ane-instea... It seems intuitive that if they design hardware very spe

I wonder how competition will play out against StarLink. People just choose which billionaire they like better?

Interesting bit towards the end: they need the FCC to extend their “network authorization”. And the FCC is of course now headed by a Musk/Trump ally.

I would bet the answer is it is easier to write a script the simply downloads everything it can (foreach <a href=>: download and recurse), rather than looking into which sites provide data dumps and how to use them.

The bigger problem is this is wikitext markup. It would be helpful if they also provide HTML and/or plain text. I know there are now a couple pretty-good wikitext parsers, but for years, it was a bigger problem. The only "official

Speaking of old-timers and "inference time" - there was a time when "inference" meant inferring parameters from data (i.e. training). And now it means "test-time". (or maybe the difference is if it's stati

I've been trying some with GPT-4. It does come up with some impressive clues, but hasn't gotten the right answer - says "Latin American city ...", but guesses the wrong one. And when asked for more specificity, it does s

Suggestions: * one full PDF (including cover) of an example book. * don't use AI images as examples - it's not obvious if the outline version will look as good on real images.

Point taken, but I think my comment is a reflection of the problems with the modern use of "left" and "right". Yes, of course NPR is more on the side of democrats than republicans. But, it is very much pro-business, and

This is cool and I looked into this many years ago (using MetaMath). Sorry if this is obvious in one of the links, but does there exist a high quality “OCR-ed” version of the original text?
