Any corp (> 150 seats) has to use API pricing, so e.g. I don't have pressure or weekly limits, just a set budget I can use each month.

But you have IDE for you and cli for agent. Agent works on the same code, you can see the changes right there.

Our corp specifically prohibits that, because of code leak/training.

In my model I have also opis 4.6. Maybe this is becaus I'm on api pricing? (All new contracts for corps are pushed to that by Anthropic).

Harness makes a difference. Also in copilot you have smaller context for Claude models. And you get a token based pricing since June 1.

Maybe the GP was more about: "Why have agent in IDE?" kind of comment, which I understand. Having a small window into agent is annoying for me. I prefer to have coding agent in CLI and do my editing in IDE (and seeing the code cha

> Why is Google the 2nd or 3rd tier player in the AI coding market? 2nd, 3rd? No way. You either use Claude Code or Codex, the 3rd option usually was Github Copilot. The only time I heard someone used google for code writing it was Linux

It is sad. I like programming, if I couldn't do it and had to write text (which I do hate, I'm not a writer) it would be make quite a sad world.

People in my company sounded underwhelmed by it. It usually was founding issues by not understanding deployment (or not being fed that info).

What is the use case for integrating coding agent in IDE? I use run agents outside of my IDE, while they work I can look at the code they created, or I can us IDE to do different work.

Because people are crazy, usage of npm for installing binaries is quite common unfortunately.

The most important feature of Pi is that it is small, and has small system prompt, making it great for locall LLMs.

Why would anyone compare a cloud LLMs power usage when one doesn't pay for it? Local power consumption is important for those.

This sounds like an ad for US than anything else. Does any of the US companies earn money on LLMs? No, they bleed money. Github Copilot is switching to token based pricing, which will be costlier than hiring juniors. Anthropic also is switc

With AI it is important to catch errors/hallucinations early, static typing helps with that. So languages with dynamic typing might hide some errors until runtime, static typing one could catch that during compilation. With dynamic one

It would be best if distros kept tap on kernel changes and update as soon as possible when they see a security issue fixed. Sending emails to some big distros would still result with e.g. Gentoo not getting that info because they are not a
