I get 1 Gbps / 300 Mbps fiber for about $20 (80 PLN) in village next to a big city in Poland. I heard that the 3 best speeds are in Romania, they bad 500 Mbps dirty cheap about 7 years ago.

Most of those surveys are more like "yeah there is a problem". But only few were about actions. And none were "are you willing to take a pay cut to save the climate", or "do you approve banning cars in the city"

For those more knowledgeable. Are emission limits calculated similarly for all countries. Is it: calculate current emission, set allowance for next year as prev_year_emission * 0.99 (or some other reduction)? This equation would need modifi

I'm curious how it is even legal anywhere? Should employee have influence on e.g. ma sleep pattern (because it can reduce my work performance) or my eating habits?

Is tracking job entry/leave that popular nowadays? I get it that there were punchcards for factory workers previously, but city workers? Is this US-only thing or popular around the world also?

OK, it depends on how/why you travel. E.g. I do cross-Poland travel only to get from the mountains to the sea. And I have two small children -> they best travel when they are asleep -> travel during night. My car has small tank,

OK, but if you commit on feature branches then those commits will land also on master (squashing is not something popular and makes frequent commits pointless). Frequent commits (without making sure they pass tests) allow better git blame&#

One exception makes the whole "EU doesn't have" incorrect. EU doesn't enforce it on the states, yes. But some (maybe all) countries that are in EU do have it.

git bisect is not something one thinks when commiting code. And there is a difference between entirely broken builds and not-tested ones.

Does everyone test if their commits don't break the build? I doubt that, e.g. if you want to commit before going home, there isn't always time to test and more importantly until you push to master/target branch there is no ne

Why? It would be better, I frequently commit in. This way it is even easier to find the offending commit, because changes are smaller (yes, sometimes not working at all).

It is not US specific, we have it in EU. And e.g. in Poland I could reverse engineer a program to make it work on my hardware/software if it doesn't. This is covered by fair use here.

I wonder why there is no example in java. It is one of the most popular languages (drfinatelly more popular than ruby or Go, and on par with Javascript and python).

Not quite, Akamai is more large corp centric (they don't serve average Joe) besides that they do also security. If it went down you would get all of sudden e.g. a lot of DDOS possible.

This is market cap, but if you look at amount of traffic you have Akamai estimated at 15-30%, CF at 10%. So if it would go down, it would cripple vast amount of internet.
