Yes they do, streams make collections processing quite readable.

It is good to know both. I wouldn't choose which one is more important (ORM vs pure DB) as both are useful. But you can use DB without ORM, you can't use ORM without a DB. Hibernate (and generally JPA) is usually more PITA than he

Exactly. In our case company was strictly "Oracle-only", but one team did a quick implementation in startup-style of Rails and used mysql. No one forced them to migrate to oracle, company just hired DBAs that now mysql.

Proper string interpolation is not (see JEP 430).

Is there a way to avoid anemic domain model? Or have a proper invariant entity class that is created using constructor?

In my 20 year experience anegdotal evidence is that changing database happens as frequently as changing logging framework - never. My employers always used Oracle (with small one time ex eption for RoR app that used mysql).

Systemd is a solution to problems that exist in rare corner cases. We had a nail and all we needed was a hammer, instead we got a hydraulic press.

I have the same thing, I tried to disable all functions of my Pixel 4 that would do that. It amazes me that the simplest thing is not done here: if proximity sensor senses your screen is covered - do not enable the screen ever. When I'

The only cables that failed for me were lightning that I had in my car for emergency charging.

The question is also, why separate humans from bots? It makes creating useful scripts harder, doesn't it fall into "fair use" case which in EU is enforced even in software where you can modify it to be able to run it on your

This is quite similar to Takes ( https://github.com/yegor256/takes ). I like both, look cleaner then all the annotation based ones.

Are older games somehow inferior? Factorio (it has native Mx support)? What is more important is the average hours people play given game, not the release date.

Pirate bay does that.

Oh, that's interesting, I stopped using bzip2 at the time kernel sources started shipping in xz. Do you know if there are any tests showing which compressor is better (compression wise) for which data?

In my country it has comparable price to Pixel tablet. BTW. Is there a good tablet that has a screen that one can comfortably keep in hands, like around 8 inches?

by krzyk 3y ago
Why a screen in a speaker? Minis don't have them

The warning is "don't fool around", just provide usb-c without any conditions, don't make "better" and worse cables just because one has to pay the funny MFI.

I'm sure people that protested were taken care of. Like the one that just got out of jail after 3 years (he reported the spread in Wuhan). BTW. How is Wikipedia looking from China, blank spots?

Wasn't java targeted at embedded? AFAIR at some point it was marketed that it will be in every washing machine, fridge. There a was HotJava browser, weren't servers just a small part of its target?
