It is similar to the days of first search engines - suddenly you didn't have to remember everything about your language/library or search multiple files. You lose some, you gain some. Although I'm not happy with code quality&

Maybe you hit a specific use case where the LLM part turns into its roots? I had a somehos similar problem with Claude 3.7, where I had a class named "Workflow" and it got nuts, producing code/comments I didn't ask for,

(all below - IANAL) Strange, my country (Poland) has a law that allows reverse engineering to allow given software to work on given hardware. If (and only if) consumer has bought given software. So e.g. I could reverse engineer MS Word to m

Well US started this, so it is fair to be anti-American (someone voted an idiot into the office) for breaking the world economy. First being pro-Russian and making demands to Ukraine and now those tariffs. Trump keeps on giving.

How is it better exactly? And why always? I would argue differently, it is better to use latest JDK, it always has best support and fixes. Most maintained libraries keep their code compatible with it, if one doesn't then I would be cau

Migrating anything at least somehow complicated past Java 8 is PITA. When you are at Java 9, you are half done. Full done if you don't use some libraries that abuse JVM (like lombok). For most of those it would be enough to upgrade to
