Perl was created to do this stuff. Perl is like duct tape to hold together everything. Most people call it ugly because of that but Perl is the best language for quick dirty one liners that work. Only problem is that if you look at it later

Looks like another GPL v3 product being treated as infected goods. They chose Unity a proprietary product over RetroArch which was GPL v3. Now their games are subpar. Too bad. Would have tried the classics but since they are bad will not.

I am a person who has been benefited by Sci-Hub immensely and hope that it continues to stay just like the Libgen project. Journal publishers need to wake up and get their wits together and do something. It used to be proprietary Software e

I will say this. I am currently a student working in a project and I cannot afford any kind of subscription and my institution does not subscribe to the journals I need for reference. Without Scihub my project is doomed. I find this a real

Keepass is actively developed but uses .Net so Linux requires mono. So KeepassX was created to use C++ so Mono is not required but the project is inactive. So KeepassXC was created as a fork of KeepassX for the linux users who don't wa

If they don't fix for Windows then they are killing 90% of their customers which they won't. So if it's not already out it will be soon. It is Linux which gets fixes late most of the time.

This project blew me away. I always thought Scheme was just interpreters and toy programs. Hope this succeeds in making scheme popular. Scheme and Lisps in general way too underrated.

Most competitive programming is done in C++. It probably will be in near forseeable future. This is because of speed and STL.

Can't the changes be gradually introduced? We change distros every year or reinstall the OS every time a new version of the distro is released. That's a newly compiled set of executables that are being installed every year. If the

The site looks great. A welcome change from Large news articles on your face. Great for skimming through the headlines when you are late for your morning classes.(my use case). If you add more general categories I will definitely use it.
