Thank you for putting this together. Cashflow is brilliant. I've always been looking for cashflow functionality in online personal finance apps like Mint/LoveMoney/WeSabe etc, but this app does exactly what i need it to do. The best bit is,

I'd love something like this for either Javascript itself or Node.js - Any ideas anyone?

I considered doing something similar a while back, but just like snail mail, you cant avoid it if everyone else still insists on using it. I'm still dumbfounded that i have to verify my identity via fax for some organisation or by letter fo

I dont know if you use lightroom at all, but if say i want to create a preset filter, could this data be useful for that? I often see photographs that have had color processing work done in Photoshop but can never quite seem to match them.

Genuine question (if anyone knows): This isnt a mockery or complaint, i'm only an amateur DSLR photographer, but how does one actually take advantage of these color palettes. I mean, what can they actually do for me?

I second all these points. At our company we have a "Play" session every day for 20 minutes. There's only 3 of us in this start-up (well, to be fair we're not really a startup, but thats a long story). We all work in different locations, an

I know its on Github, but a hosted demo would've been nice. I finally understood what backbone.js is. Seen posts all over HN not knowing what it is. Guess i had to understand what MVC is first(!) . Can you tell im new to programming? ;-)

I'm new to programming and learned a little bit of javascript lately. I'm going to do a mini project on Node just to give myself an excuse to learn more programming. If you dont mind my asking, how would i go about using CoffeeScript with N

Sorry for the late reply. I'm going to Sorrento, Italy. I ended up getting a hotel for very cheap, but i really need to consider the AirBNB idea more. My wife and i werent sure about how much privacy we were going to get amongst other thing

I did a blog post on using Starbucks as a main business-person hangout, and got some criticism on it. Which is ironic, cos everyone WANTS to use it as a main business-person hangout. I just think its so much untapped potential for Starbucks

I have my honeymoon coming up in 8 weeks and wasnt sure if AirBNB was a good idea for that(?) You've convinced me to at least give it a serious consideration. Unfortunately i've never seriously used AirBNB before. Any advice?

Two ways to look at what you just said. Windows 7 is a very solid OS. I've been using it for the past year or so now, and this is the first time that i'm using a Windows OS that i havent said to myself on almost weekly basis, "I wish the OS

Yet another miraculous tool to help you organise your cluttered inbox. If you havent mastered the skill in organising your life so your inbox doesnt take over your life, no tool is going to make that any better for you. Its a delusion.

While i didnt drop out of software engineering class, i found it to be a real chore to learn how to program. That was in 1998-2000. Since then, i've had a little dabble with html and css and thats about it. On one or two occassion, i had a

I think my comment was poorly worded. I just meant, that its quicker to start using the device than a laptop say booting Windows 7. Of course, i realise that the iPad can take time to 'get ready' too, but it was a very generic comparison.

I think one key reason the iPad succeeds is that, there's no boot taking place when you want to use the device. So for light computing such as browsing the web, checking email, watching a quick video, the iPad works very well. Of course, th

This is not a criticism, but an observation. I felt that the simplicity of the website itself (it was real easy to understand what you were selling, and what we get for our money) really helped. My biggest problem is, i can never do a simpl
