No interest in the tool itself, but love the neutral outline of use cases it's a good/bad fit for - more software should do this.

Two things I would change: 1. The latency selector should be plain numbers, to avoid coloring the perception by the emotional terms used 2. Currently the letters appear with a delay, but the cursor advances immediately (could be my browser)

Would really love to hear what the final output sounded like. Some light googling found no recordings, did anyone else have more luck?

The article says that the AI generated 1k candidates which were then reviewed by humans which then selected 3 which seemed most promising and then massaged them into the final rules. Makes the "AI" part of the project look much le

Age of the langs absolutely needs to be taken into account if comparing stability and feature addition rate. According to Wikipedia it's 47 years for C vs 8 years for Rust (as of 2019) - it's not that surprising that a 6x older la

While convenient, some of the utils can be slowish due to input validation which might not be strictly necessary, etc. - check the implementation if using in a performance critical task. Apart from that, very useful lib, highly recommended.

Camera could be gimbal mounted, behind a fixed glass dome - if the speck is on the dome and the camera gimbal moves, it would appear like "the UFO" rotating.

Mine was pretty good actually. From time to time you find some track you just can't stop listening to - start every morning with it, put it on every time you get home, then hit rewind as soon as it's done and so on - my top songs

I made my app shortcuts with cmd+function keys - less keys to press. I was a bit surprised, but cmd+fx doesn't seem to override any useful app builtin shortcuts either for the apps I use.
