Mildly off-topic: is "earthed" a European-ism? I've only ever heard "grounded" until reading through this article and thread.

I'm deploying a simple SPA I wrote as a sole developer for a client later this week, and the clients have been thrilled with it so far. I've written less code than in other traditional webapps, the app is responsive and works well

Great article. I never understand why "financial advisors", when making pitches for consumer frugality, invent a wildly optimistic interest rate (12%?!) and say things like "you could have had $X million dollars, IF ONLY. Wel

A self administered course with no mention of MCAS . How deep does the rabbit hole of bad decisions go here? If the MCAS system was a difference between the two models (737 vs 737 Max), why wouldn't it show up in a transition course a

I agree with this sentiment. I work primarily in web dev, and the stacks are already so sprawling with different technologies... config file generation debugging just sounds like unnecessary hassle. Had not heard of protobuffers before thou

I can see why the whole Metro UI thing is gonna make a bunch of long-time Windows users sad. Microsoft knew that. However, I feel like they're solving much bigger problems with Metro - namely, the huge gap that currently sits between tablet/
