"Order by" is a much better name, by the way. I'm permanently slightly annoyed by the fact that in programming it's a custom to call ordering "sorting" for some unimaginable reason.

Others already commented on why this complaint doesn't make any sense, but, hey, at least I was pointed to a Rich Hickey talk I've missed. It never occurred to me before that "Maybe" isn't actually a "maybe&quo

PHP in 2023 is a great language, I always scoff when somebody tries to imply that Python or JS are "clearly superior" languages to PHP (which, to me, is a clear sign of illiteracy). But I am also kind of "the right tool for t

Not really. I mean, this obviously depends on what you consider political, but as the maintainer correctly noted a flag doesn't have to represent a country. I can have my own flag. Depending on my prominence, my flag can be showcased i

I was annoyed when composer (PHP package manager) output, along with a lot of other stuff got clogged by colorful "Stand with Ukraine" messages (which, ironically, turns out to be orange in my terminal, instead of yellow). Now all

What reading the article really reminded me, is that it sucks to live among people. I mean, one weirdo thinking he's cool puts transformer statues on what's essentially a public street in a lively neighborhood just because it&#x27
