So this 'feature' is just a fix for the issue with tracking that would not be there with ipv4 beside that my internal ip's are changing every day to bring more confusion into my internal net. nice!

IPv4 allows future changes. There are some reserved bits in the header that could change a big part of it.

Having just optional field in the ipv4 header with extra address bits would leave all the stack source code with just some 100 lines of extra code. Would mean, you can have one stack that handles just both. Make special addresses where the

Correct. When I spend more time in the bar and fewer time at work and with my family then this is a sign that the bar is more useful and better for me than work and family.

Please don't. I had a talk with a shitty AI bot on a Fedex line. It's absolute crap. Just give me a 'Type 1 for x, type 2 for y'. Then I don't need to guess what are the possibilities.

What's about configuring the codec correctly? Using mjpeg? Using VNC? Throwing all this shit into the trashcan and get just diff's in utf-8 from the coding agent? Or maybe self-write the code to not create this hell of bullshit co

Maybe it would be easier to just USE VNC instead. But the mentioned they have written their software in Rust. Looks like nothig is good enough for Rust coders, they need to fail by reprogramming their things in Rust before they accept that

That happens when someones learning project ("I rewrite a library in the new language I want to learn") ends up in productive code.

I'm sure when you try to get a AI to recreate such a tool, ths code would be unmaintainable, bloath, slow and shitty, but in the end it would work in some way. Interesting topic, but nothing to go productive with.

The big bloaty part it the rust toolchain, not the C toolchain. But this beside, you are now free from a C toolchain and have unmaintainable automatically generated unsafe Rust code. Don't see a win there.

Would be good for memory safety and wouldn't need a rewrite of all software in a hyped language. No, we shouldn't do that ;)
