Genuinely curious, what do you find painful about it? Is it the syntax? Performance? Or does it just encourage bad practices?

How much harder would it be to implement than say, JS? 3 orders of magnitude more difficult? I wonder if there's a deno/bun style business in here. Would be cool to see Ada compete with Go/nodejs/java etc. Or do you thin

I don't know shit about law, but I'm assuming it's not allowed for someone to build their own compiler and make their own business out of the Ada programming language?

I think it's a little more than a passion project since it's posted on the official deno blog. I don't think it's a net negative of a pursuit, but I follow the founder of bun on twitter and he just keeps shipping shit wh

I hope this is good marketing for Deno and not just a huge distraction. I feel like Bun is running circles around them right now. I feel like there might even be room for 3 winners (Bun, Deno, Node) but I don't understand the point of

Even if we put the costs associated with Tariffs aside, I feel like a big PITA with Tariffs is enforcing and regulating everything. Tariffs don't seem like smaller government. Or maybe I'm wrong and this is all pretty easy to enfo

I see, but that's a very contrived situation. I think in that situation you just tell the Waymo to pull over and get out. The world is not a utopia. There will always be some sort of risk to everything we do

So let me get this straight. Once there are lots of people it's more dangerous, but once there are no people it's simultaneously more dangerous? I'm not following the logic here

Agreed. This could be a personal skill issue, but I've started a new job where Django is the main codebase and getting decent OTel has been a struggle. In fact, everything with Python has been a struggle
