You can't have one without the other. Sure, houses in Ex-Soviet countries aren't as big as the ones in the US even though there is a lot of land. But good luck building an American sized house in a Western European country without

That would mean that countries with even higher disposable income than the US have even larger houses. This is evidently not the case. (I am also not a fan of using averages in terms of comparing income across countries)

It's not just apartments either: Many inner-city (where electric cars make the most sense) houses do not have a dedicated garage (I am talking outside the US here). You would need to have plugs on all residential on-street parking.

Huh, I always called it the iPhone Ecks. I can't really think of a 'tech thing' with 'X' in the name that is not pronounced Ecks.

So you want to have multi-line rows containing all the information as opposed to a single row? That's probably not possible as far as I know of. That being said, having a single row is much more information dense and of course easier t

The US has some of the lowest tax rates in the world, IFF you are making a large amount of money. If you are earning a median wage a lot of other countries have comparable tax rates. If you are earning minimum wage a lot of other countries

I have done the same and it's great. The main issue is that I used to spend the commute reading books. So I have basically exchanged "mental" excericse with physical excercise. I feel that listening to an audiobook while cyc

As someone who moved to Australia from London, I can confirm: the latency is the real killer. I'm one of the few lucky ones with FTTP which gets me close to 100mbit speeds. But as soon as I have to connect to a server outside of Oz I a

Cable TV, internet, phone, flights and medicine are all very expensive in the US compared to the rest of the world. The thing they all have in common is high barriers to entry and very few competitors. So basically lack of competition.
