1-7 can be solved with a good dock. This allows you to still use your main machine as a portable machine on the go. I do agree with the other items, especially number 10. It's the one big thing I miss from having a desktop.

I remember going through a tunnel in a shinkansen at around 300kph and doing a speed test as I was surprised to still have full 4g signal. It was faster than the max speed I'd ever recorded back in London. Meanwhile when I was living i

If you are a native English speaker, higher education should not be required for basic writing. There is no requirement to use complicated words, but I'd expect someone to be able to spell correctly (especially on a device with spell c

I agree and I'd like to go further: If you're out and about and a person comes up to you and shouts about how the world is controlled by goats in cow suits, your brain will quickly assess the trustworthiness of this person. Is the

I agree; you can really see the writing quality diminish when shows just go on forever. The original 'vision' is completely lost and you can almost hear the discussions between writers as they have to come up with new plot twists

Your calculation doesn't count for insurance, tax, maintenance and fuel. That being said, I consider nearly 2 hours a day spent in a car to be a massive amount of time and would definitely want to have my own car if that was the case.

You can ToString() an enum and Enum.Parse a string to an enum. Or are you talking about pretty printing? You can also create reasonably 'generic' extension methods that will work on 'any' Enum. It's a bit more fiddl

That is awful and why I have always been very sceptical of software moving to the cloud. Just yesterday I had a similar issue with Resharper, where our local licence server was down for the day. Luckily I was able to enable a 30-day trial.

While I agree, I feel that third-party library consumption is a bit of an edge case (i.e. the majority of your interface implementations won't be wrappers around third-party stuff). Whenever I do work closely with a third-party library
