You should only compare by specific language/stack. Not as a whole. For Java I’d use IDEA. For JS maybe I’d go with vscode. For Rust I also used IDEA and preferred it over the vscode rust setup. However, didn’t check as of late, maybe

I think that your comment mostly proves the opposite point. I wouldn’t say that it’s only a ui/ux issue. However, I’d say that ui/ux is the best solution in this case (and most other cases)
