The last game that studio published was 6 years ago - Bioshock in 2007; Bioshock 2 was shipped by another studio. If they had 100+ employees (not unreasonable for a AAA game studio), they could have incurred personnel costs of $60M+ for the

Note the prominence of the Invite button on each. On Twitter it's in bright red in the header, Facebook also in the header and for Tumblr it's right below the profile.

Neat idea. Probably would improve if you go with click-hold rather than tap-tap-tap-tap-tap, or at least enable the ability. Also, needs more Mario pipes :)

Probably just coincidence, but it amused me that the post was signed "Carmel", which is the name of the most famous limo service in New York City. http://www.carmellimo.com/

I'm sorry, but there are a lot of games that employ dark patterns. And there are a lot of games that frequently prompt players to rate their app. It's pretty implausible that this is a primary reason that Flappy Bird reached (and

On a side note, it's always curious to me how some threads get "picked up" and others don't, even if they're the exact same material. I wonder why that is.

Exactly. Many ad companies fill less than 10% of ads outside of the US. Possible that's accounted for in their $1.50 CPM, but they also may be estimating quite optimistically, considering Snapchat would add a huge amount of volume to a

From experience, I'm always wary of ad sales folks giving "conservative estimates". This assumes a standard CTR that may not apply based on the medium based on user base, actual interaction rates (assuming that Snapchat users

I'm not sure how you can use a flat statistic like $9,100/year to own based on 12,000 miles per year driven, and then apply it to a Lyft driver. They could be driving 45,000 miles per year, in which case the $9,100 per year would

To be fair here, unless you're driving a luxury car like a Tesla, your depreciation, gas and maintenance costs are still probably $5/hour or less. So, call it $16/hour, and it's still well above minimum wage and most liv

AAA developers aren't trying to make games that earn $50K/day (while a game is getting 1MM+ installs per day). AAA developers can spend $100MM+ in development costs and are looking for titles that can make $200K/day or launch
