All of the presidents pardon tons of people unpalatable to the other side of the political spectrum. They usually just save it for the end of their term so it doesn’t cause too much noise.

So if you filter out the Republican owned ones or whatever your bugbear is, does the 55% persist?

Right, but if 55% is avg over the last few years, “buy stock” is going to be correct more than not. https://www.crestmontresearch.com/docs/Stock-Yo-Yo.pdf

Yes. Scale up the judicial system and cut laws if needed. Also, there will likely still be some pleas. Some people own up to being guilty and want to move on. There is an absolute dearth of lawyers to support this. We just need more courts

“I have a few degrees in economics” is an appeal to authority, and a laughable one at that. Economists are historians that tricked themselves into thinking that overfitted models of the past predict the future. 2008 was obvious in retrospec

All that research indicates is that Walmart isn’t a good place to work. It doesn’t say anything about how much is saves you by shopping there. I saw this first hand when Walmart showed up in my small city in the 90s. Everyone saved enormous

What’s your point? The spreads are tighter than you would get on the open market. NBBO requires that if there is something better that Robinhood gives it to you.

What you described is how you bet against retail traders. The bet is that they have no edge so it’s safe to run tight spreads and nice pure market making algos that assume random behavior at volume.

Nope, this is one of the counterintuitive things about people paying RH for order flow. Market makers can offer tighter spreads when they know it’s a pool of dumb money.
