The Grayzone is a fully independent reader funded site publishing articles that often challenge US and British government media stories. They have no affiliation or loyalty to China or Russia.

The problem is finding which apps have the SDK embedded in an SDK when the apps are proprietary. The very few proprietary apps I have are installed on a separate profile of my Graphene phone, and they are given very few permissions. I somet

MS is a big ad player now. They have the ad contract with Netflix and are growing the business. Advertising is not the only use of this data. MS also makes billions from service contracts with the DOD. The services sold are not detailed or

These daily briefing emails I get at work remind me that "We are watching you." I complain about this to our security team and ask why they let Microsoft read our emails. They do not give me much of a response. I assume they get s

The money is real, but the other important aspect is that any government can compel these companies to restrict free speech. One of the governments is the board of directors of the company itself. Unless you truly own your phone, the speech

The anti scraping measures employed seem to have broken the API methods we used via RSS-bridge to generate RSS feeds. This is unfortunate for those of us without Facebook accounts who want to follow those family members who continue to post

The links at bottom of page to share to Facebook/Twitter/Linkedin is somewhat ironic here. I know how to share to the fediverse. Hopefully some of these publications will implicitly encourage it by adding such a button.
