Regardless of whether they asked for it or not is irrelevant. That they released a product and encouraged use of it, then had to walk it back and now we're likely looking at proving we are US citizens to them to use it - if it returns

Your comment cuts to the heart of it, for sure. However, banning that type of content is an arms race waiting to happen. It also neglects the fact that powerful software can be built with AI with proper attention and knowledge of the domain
