I've been hearing this for years. Hasn't happened. Are you willing to say by which date it will happen?

I hope the ranges will still drastically increase. I need a big car, and I was already looking at the Mercedes EQV. It currently has an official range of 363 km. So that would mean 4 stops. But I have no idea how much you can charge in 15 m

He probably learned a big lesson after that mistake. So if he was a good developer, why not hire him? The chance of him doing the same mistake is probably very tiny. I can imagine that a junior is not able to assess the risk and consequence

That's not true here in Belgium and the Netherlands. See my comment above (or below)

I live in Belgium, and at least here that's not true at all. People drive to the south during holidays. South of France, Spain, Italy, ... . And people from the Netherlands do even bigger distances than that, mostly with their camper.

Once Ethereum goes to PoS, let's hope those transfers become cheap enough to compete with centralised exchanges.

Yes, I get it, it's indeed a lot of surplus in the summer. Long term storage would be the better solution, but batteries don't seems to be able to store a large amount of energy anyway. So in my opinion, it's really a tradeof

Not going to take a train when I can take a plane (which is not crazy expensive anyway). And as you know, planes are pretty polluting. So not sure that ditching driving to your destination is a positive evolution.

Isn't adding more panels a better solution? How else are you going to bridge over the winter?

I think it comes down to who is the most easy to replace. If the sellers kind of have a big chunk of the market, and can choose between vendors, you're indeed in a difficult spot. On the other hand, if the market has multiple sellers,

But that was my whole point, that in practice, successful companies seem to be run by the engineer, and not by some business type and a good CTO of some sort. I even forgot Mark Zuckerberg in my original post. So it seems that at the top le

I think this theory is proven in practice. If you look at the major tech companies, they are all run by people who programmed at some point. Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Larry Page, ... . However, Steve Jobs seems to be an exception h
