I think of dimensions like 3D space. Normal people dimentions. Math calls independent variables 'dimensions' but it's a overloaded naming convention that causes people to think it has something to do with normal everyday dim

Saying this is why so many people can't understand quaternions. They are not independent over multiplication. They only are over addition. With multiplication they interact with eachother, transform into eachother. Its not the same ind

I don't consider variables to equal dimensions so I'm glad you put them in 3D too. People take the term 'dimension' very literally when thinking about things. What's the difference between doing: rotors: 0 1 + b

I always hoped they would release Fushsia XR but they went with Android XR.

Saying quaternions require thinking in 4 dimensions seems like a lie with no proof. The geometric product is just the quaternion product broken up into scaler and vector parts.

I wish this was more obvious that they don't identify what the 'clicked' New Tab content is. And for Search it could be stored local information and be tracked for suggestions. I wish they clarified the things you clarified i

How do you turn off getting your search history sold? You can turn off seeing the suggestions. Can you request they don't sell it though? The company they sell your search profile to could then sell that to someone else.

How is that not phishing? They made the URL bar a search bar so they can steal and sell everyone's Google search history?

Does Waterfox sell your data like Firefox? I hate the Mozilla 'clarification' because they gave no example. The only information I type into Firefox is using websites. Them being 100% vague makes it feel even worse.

Does the fact its so ungodly expensive and highly rate limited kind of prove the modern point that AI actually uses tons of water and electricity per prompt? People are used to streaming YouTube while they sleep and it's hard to think

It's a declarative programming language. Saying it's "in the name" is a meme, it was named that before it supported scripting.

A human summary would say " This smells like BS". This article though smells legit. This is an actual problem that it doesn't seem intelligent enough to handle.
