Humans should never do it, but I'd be surprised if it happened less than once a week.

Its probably fair to say that tech was less abused in that era, not that people were less paranoid about it. Your run of the mill telemetry would have been considered spyware (a term that's nearly dead) back in the day.

The 9th and 10th amendments to the US constitution limits the US government only to the powers explicitly enumerated in article 1 section 8. But in the real world, unfortunately, you are absolutely correct. Even the idea that there are only

For a dumb TV to computer a projector is the way to go. I haven't darkened everything much so it doesn't work great in the daytime, but I tell myself that's a feature not a bug.

Unmuffled motorcycles at night break at least half a dozen laws at every level from local to federal. Masks were also mandated in most of the US. Not the greatest examples.

I'm sure that most criminals know to either turn phones off or leave them behind, and if they don't they surely will if this kind if thing becomes more widespread. This seems like a system designed to ensnare innocents.

OP said: "I also think it shows that licenses really don't matter all that much as some people think". I doubt they would be unable to sleep at night because of a license violation.

Who redacted this in the first place, and how would it have been sealed? Much of it is clearly redacted for PR reasons, and I don't really understand how there could be any excuse for keeping it hidden.

When scams are that endemic, that shows a failure of law enforcement. My PD has hundreds of traffic cops but not even a handful on internet scams and exactly one doing 'to catch a predator' type stings.
