I find alcohol is good way to explain to people outside of the US how it is unlikely to get a ban on guns in the USA, even though it's obvious that would prevent death by a madman going on a shooting spree at a school. It would be lik

Currently the biggest pressure on demand for palm oil is for biofuels. The result has been a significant recent and planned expansion of palm oil plantations in Indonesia and Malaysia. It doesn't help that many countries now have a m

Well I was thinking mostly of what options does Greece has if it is not allowed to print money to get out of debt. The Brazilian virtual currency, named the opposite of virtual, was an interesting idea. Another alternative could be for th

Perhaps they need a solution inspired by the Brazilian Real. Pay government salaries and pensions in a different currency, called the 'faux' or something. The value won't change, but how many Euros you can get for 1 faux wo

I think this is a bit extreme on the fake side, but I have found somewhere between that and a real job that works quite well, while not being fake. There are agencies that will make you come in like a 9-5 job, help you write your CV, help

While it's relatively easy for people with an EU passport to move to the UK, the work permit system is just as bad as the H1-B visa system. It's capped at around 20000 applicants per year. For those with good English and tech ski
