You think it's bad in the UK? I'm actually missing the variety you can find in supermarkets in the UK compared to the water vessels they sell in South Africa. At least sometimes I could strike it lucky with a Tesco finest from the Isle Wi

Last year I was woken up in the middle of the night by my girlfriend, who was terrified by a voice that seems to come from the lounge. I got up, opened the door, and there was a bright white light. My girlfriend was even more terrified si

Personally I quite like the idea of IBM buying Microsoft, say, in the early 90s. However, Microsoft was very much about not being IBM, where Google is very much about not being Microsoft, so these are acquisitions that would only have been

I think for some long haul flights it would be nice to have rows of, say, 3-4 seats that can fold down flat into the floor. Then you can lower 3-4 hammocks hanging above each other in the same space.

That's very good to hear, the reason why I didn't make talking to the obd port a regular hobby is because my wifi connector would eat the battery up in a few days.

You have to be able to produce the product or deliver the service at a lower cost than people are willing to pay for it. Demand is just one factor that affects how much they are willing to pay. The most basic example is an investment in a

Large, established retailers, in general, will favour a higher minimum wage if it's enforced on themselves and all their competitors. It's actually good for them, since they operate at a scale that can do more with less people. Unfortunat

It will be nice for your customers to have a smaller download. To speed this sort of thing up you can probably spin up an elastic cluster to do the compression work, and shut down when it's done.
