This hit me at the worst time. I linked a friend a tutorial in a git repository hosted on Codeberg a few hours ago, only to find out that Codeberg is down. I also wanted to try setting up a Forgejo instance in Docker, but it seems that the

Yup. I couldn't ever use Git without Magit. The nice part about Magit is that it's already a very discoverable interface and, like Gitless, it just runs git commands asynchronously, so you can inspect the exact things Magit is doi

For web apps on desktop you're not even restricted to Electron anymore. Thanks to Tauri, I feel a lot more comfortable shipping web apps beyond the browser (and React Native) since I don't have to pay the cost of bundling Chromium

Also tangential: I'm looking for this kind of solution too. I always rejected xmodmap on the basis of it being specific to X11 and not necessarily "working everywhere". I personally want to be able to use S-c and S-v to copy-

Yup. I used to use Clozure CL all the time, but since the code I write tends to involve lots of number crunching, SB-SIMD and Loopus are indispensible. Even before SB-SIMD, SBCL has always seemed like the best Common Lisp implementation for

Hardware and system software. Blue Reflection is a game that really pushes the hardware to its limits; when there are heavy particle effects in the game, you can discern a steep drop in frame rate. This game was released March 2017. There

One of the cool things about CMUCL is how its code is almost entirely in the public domain, and the parts that aren't tend to be a simple 2-clause BSD license. That's how you know the contributors do it out of love for the languag
