As a AMD GPU user, I feel as if trying to mandate CUDA only or some other way to increase NVIDIA lock in like that would be met with people leaving the platform or at lest simply working on the non NVIDIA formats away from hugging face. Tho

I do think their is debate as to if namespace containers are more or less secure the kvm and qemu VM's, I think the surface area of kvm and qemu is still very large and difficult to reason about. I think on some cpu architectures virtu

Damn this is scary, I did not realize the extent of agent escape potential. I think I have to re-evaluate my assumptions a about sandboxing agents wow. Made worse by the fact that prompt injection attacks seem very difficult to mitigate bes

Strongly disagree, Having a generalized interface IE text and being to manipulate things as text using all the same commands and functions is better then bespoke interfaces for everything else. It's not like you don't have custom

Ok I stand corrected, Rob Pike is no fool, I agree the comment seems flippant and a little silly, I guess theirs a few people who shun syntax highlighting.

For me, though not blown the dust off it for emacs is to simply use direnv with nix and direnv will set your bins to the correct lsp server configured correctly for that project via nix and then load it using eglot (I have set eglot purpose

Basically all text editors now do syntax highlighting, I have not heard any one say they avoid syntax high-lighting. I personally avoid the usual auto complete interface style and stick with the emacs default of explicitly requesting the ed

Yeah and you just have one interface that you have to know and customize rather then 100. not to mention the pleasure of shell mode and and tramp and dired. I feel people are missing out not using emacs or emacs like tools where all your cu

Printing press did not kill writing at all, only the job of scribes. One still had to write their ideas down and work on a manuscript and some one had to set the press up (not trivial at all). All that is to say that I think the ability to

Can he trust it's secure? Does what about when something goes wrong. Ops issues might come into play and just handing AI agent ssh keys could cause all sorts of issues. Only time will tell though I guess.

It's really interesting to the vagueness of natural language and the fact that it's actually impossible to express a single concrete meaning in natural language. That is to say their is always a set of possible interpretations one

I feel like the article in question was actually saying some like others are expressing here that writing code by hand is over not the other aspects despite the title. I also think the metaphor of drawing is not perfect but a quite good in
