The worst managers/colleages I have ever had to work with used these "tricks". Not only these are not working, but also contraproductive, and are a clear sign of someone trying to appear relevant by using tricks. Nice way to

Yes, at the cost of even more complexity. The problem with this idea is insane complexity. One of 3 elevators in the office building is out of operation every two weeks. ThyssenKrupp comes and repairs it every now and then. They are simple

I am not convinced by your understanding. The elevator conserves energy by having a counterweight, and the work needed for moving the elevator (disregarding the loss of the system) is 0 if the elevator is empty and the counterweight is the

I said simple ad-hoc conference calls. Like a phone conference, even more simply: just drag and drop some contacts to a call, and they all can participate. (It worked like a charm in skype. you can even share a screen and files and chat wit

There is a need for skype replacement, as Microsoft is actively killing it. What people use skype for: * chat (many alternatives) * video calls (many alternatives) * PSTN gateway (SIP is an alternative. It is handy sometimes, but loosing re

Its not there yet, but seeing that skype is repositioning itself as a shitty wanabe snapchat/instagram, instead of the conferencing and telephony app, I hope it will mature and become a thing. (Hey microsoft, what will the office365 cu

Ah, you are from Ukraine. This explains your bitterness. There are differences between Eastern-Europe and Eastern-Europe. Ukraine is in a whole different dimension regarding corruption, than Hungary.

This is simple demagogue populism. This is not a critique of the problems, and does not start any fruitful discussion, and will not lead eventually to better conditions.
