An L3 who remains an L3 will get PIP'd. If they're tenured it's possible, but if they're forever senior people will start doubting them. Staff, I think, is the first level that can really be "sat" in. I say sat

I really love these points as a North Star, but these would be mostly aspirational for teams I've been on. I work on a team now where we get huge scopes of work and a couple people will tear that work down and would answer these questi

I like Knuth's take. Personally I do it to signal, "I'm looking to work with people on this". Some of my hobby projects consequently have notes from my perspective which read as more journalesque. I agree with OP, this i

Responding to the edit: I don't think I could emulate it, but maybe someone with a different mind could. Categorically, my mind isn't visual with things like math. It's more process oriented. Visualizing DFS on thought paths

I honestly haven't had to do it. I try to ride my bad trips out as long as I'm rooted in my reality and feel safe doing so. CBD has anti-psychotic properties, CBD also binds to the very same serotonin receptors that LSD does. From

Spot on. When I did LSD for the first time I was honestly shocked at my experience juxtaposed with what I had learned about psychedelics in popular culture (read: Thompson-esque). I didn't hallucinate at all. Rather, my mind was just m

I'm curious what you believe makes them a net negative. Are you saying hallucigens and psychedelics are not enough for you? Maybe you'd prefer deliriants, though that's kind of the dark arts part of the world.
