I am also having a hard time with this. Taking all our services down this hard would require enormous efforts in coordination, potentially months of preparation to make sure it would execute satisfactory. I think occam must be at work here.

Yeah, Id also accept all my data zeroed instead of financing hackers. It still puzzles me greatly how this ransomware has such a huge impact. How Does it allow hacking and encrypting the db servers?

Login with Facebook tremendously reduces friction on signup. We get a verified email that we can trust, the name of the customer and a profile photo that automatically renews. But even more important we dont need to ask for a password. We c

I wont herald Signal as epitome og UX, but I have never seen most of these issues on iOS. My biggest complaint now is general slowness/sluggish and the fact that sometimes messages will still arrive out of order...

Well, the Mac trackpad is an absolute joy to use.. The quality of trackpads outside of Macs used to annoy me to no end, but my 2018 zenbook with libinput isn't that bad. It's like 80% of the way there for a quarter of the price.

We also had to do this to get enough background time. I can honestly say we don't track you. customers also get mad when the app intermittent stops doing its job. I just hope the app review team doesn't throw us out again.

Paper bags are roughly 250 times worse than a plastic bag. Even worse if you color it.

Paper bags are incredibly inefficient, and requires large swaths of forest. Plastic bags are incredibly resource efficient, but you must keep it from ever getting into nature.

They did a comparison to cloth bags here. you have to use a colored clothbag about 30.000 times before you break even with a plastic bag. a non colored cloth bag was about 23.000 uses. Plastic bags are super efficient with regards to resour
