Why does everything have to be an ICO? What's the point of a token here? Just give the appropriate organization some charitable funds.

That seems rediculously cheap and easy to come up with funds for. Storing the entire progress of science for $1k/mo? That's a good deal.

SPY and the Vanguard version together represent half a trillion dollars of wealth under management. And that's just the top two. So yes, you can dump that much in index funds.

There are more ways of linking transactions than just values. I enumerated some of them in my comment.

I don't know why you are being down voted, since you said exactly what I was alluding to. Monero's ring signature traceability is very hard to analyze. Even if the ring signature is not broken in a cryptographic sense, transaction

Monero works by ring signatures. When you make a spend, in addition to the coin you are spending you pick a small number of other coins, presumably at random. Validators don't know which coin of the set is being spent, but they do have

As an actual cryptographer who has looked into it, I wouldn't put too much faith in Monero's fungibiliry. The story is not as good as the PR would have you believe, and is really not all that different from Bitcoin with CoinJoin.

I made significant use of my healthcare pre-ACA ($30k-$50k charges before insurance). All of it was in-network, covered, and a small annual premium. The very year ACA took effect my health plan was canceled, my doctor went off-network, my n

Down-voted because that's not an argument against reproducible builds. The outputs can be bit-for-bit identical but still use an RNG for fuzz testing.

Just piggybacking on this comment, you can do a whole lot more than just trust that a few people have automated. Most people in Ubuntu get non-distro packages from Launchpad, for example, which uses their own build servers. With reproducibl
