   I like to think of Git in analogy with cars. Everyday folks aren't expected to know how their car works, much less tinker with it. Not the enthusiasts, who will find a way to grok the full specs of cars and tinker even if you tell them

   Hasn't there been many attempts of that sort over the years? I recall some similar efforts being made to simplify Git for use with writers, etc.

   The article convinces me on the failure of the ZIP method in at least 3 respects: 1) For efficient incremental updates. Especially when you're saving a large file often, making constant single changes to ZIP files is just inefficient.

   You are reading even more into the gender of the post than OP, and are policing how OP should think, and assuming that he is biased because he is male. Consider that you may yourself be sexist.

   Is your "primary" way the only way you make money through the app, or is there a secondary mechanism for making money through it?
