Yeah there are two ways I know of to achieve atomization using ultrasonic transducers. 1. Blast water with ultrasonic waves such that the top of the waves break off into droplets. This is well studied in the literature, but you need a decen

Yeah the PSRR of a typical LDO doesn’t to as well up in the high frequencies, but it generally still does some attenuation. I’m not an expert myself, but I’ve read that RF noise in audio applications isn’t always okay because it can demodul

I would argue pipefail and set -e are much more reasonable defaults to take.

The challenges I’ve had with buck or boost conversion is on mixed signal boards where I have very sensitive analog circuits. The ripple and switching noise on the output can make you lose bits on ADCs, or show up on a DAC quite easily. It’s

Most LDOs straight up won’t tolerate those conditions without very careful thermal management

Making a noise-free DC-DC converter is very difficult. Any buck/boost style converter is going to introduce ripple and switching noise into the system. This is inherently unavoidable, and it’s very sensitive to the layout of the board.

A 3V drop over an LDO is usually reasonable with low enough currents. Some LDOs require capacitors to be stable, and it’s usually a good idea to have some capacitance on your power rails anyway.

> You don't send a huge patch to a project as a first time contributor. Although that’s a good guideline, it’s not true in absolute terms. Sometimes the contribution is a big patch!

I don’t share the sentiment that it’s “very good”. It’s strongly mediocre at basic tasks and regularly fails at anything complex.

A SQL database is an excellent integration tool that I think is very underutilized. You get strong semantics around transaction isolation, and can easily bake in permissions. Language support is nearly universal and you can avoid a ton of A

The whole concept here feels backwards to me. Why are we writing into an OLAP database and replicating to an OLTP one?

The structure you are referring to is a Bayer Array. Algorithms that do the guessing are called debayering algorithms
