I'm not saying it isn't possible. I'd be interested in seeing how your numbers compare. They have ~2M daily users and 47M installs, generating 600M monthly impressions. That lines up pretty well with my estimate of about $1 CPM.

I'm not a marketing expert, so correct me if I'm wrong here ... Let's assume an iphone app gets CPM of about $1 [1,2] So if their first app grossed $100k, that means about 100M impressions. That sounds insanely high to me - 100 impressions

Right - my point was that they were expecting the naive approach, starting from human heuristics and building up. They were confused when I took a more disciplined approach and provided a solution that is robust to simple CP methods.

Nothing really clever though - he only applies the two most basic sudoku strategies: If a square has only one possible value, eliminate it from the square's peers. If a unit has only one possible place for a value, then put the valu

I had a similar experience, asked to design a sudoku solver. Coming from an AI background, I coded up an algorithm for state-space search. They were expecting me to approach it as a person would, reasoning about how you rule out certain num

That helps if you don't have numbers, but I'm getting the padding left of my line numbers. Is there a way to swap the foldcolumn to the left of line numbers?
