There isn't one that supports VRR/Gsync/Freesync well. What gamers want is chroma/RGB 4:4:4 + HDR + VRR/Freesync + 4k,120hz for their Linux PC on a TV. This is not possible with any DP --> HDMI 2.1 dongle on the

It's about time somebody does some reverse engineering and just uploads the needed stuff online to make HDMI 2.1 work in Linux. It's getting absurd at this point. TV's need to start including Displayport, HDMI is a giant pain

I have just laughed over the years as people argued that private equity owned too small of a percentage of the housing stock to move the market. Looks like they were wrong. The entire arrangement is such a tax and loan leveraged scam. It&#x

This is not how reality works at all. Nuclear war is a last resort, not a first response to a ground invasion. Ground troops are essential for defense, even in the era of nukes and drones.

You are getting down voted, but it's true. They (WEF-types during their meetings you can watch on youtube) telegraphed it during/soon after the entire Covid lock downs that they intended to make large structural changes to society

As a casual observer of Canada it would seem that the average Canadian only has the right to lie down and let their rights get stripped away one at a time…as long as they pay taxes or don’t protest/tweet too hard/mean. Otherwise t

In the Bay Area job market at 40+ you are 4/5 done with your working career at a high level of pay as a IC. It’s cruel, but post 40 and especially post 50 you are at risk of being let go and never find a similar paying job again. Espec

> Britons voted on the basis of I like Europe or I don't like foreigners. The irony is the group that is "I don't like foreigners" still got them post Brexit, but they didn't come from Europe this time.

That is good news, but I have seem some sellers already jump their price +$100 on Amazon. Perhaps just price gouging to take advantage. I might pick up another if I can get it for ~$140.

Love these N150 systems. I wonder if the RAM/SSD/misc shortages are going to make these humble $140 boxes like $300+ soon.

They won’t fix anything other than add more intrusive tracking. Only an existential crisis will make them turn it temporarily around. Even then they will go back to old patterns soon after any emerging competition dies off. We are like 35 i

It's easy to be seated on a moral high horse when it's politically convenient for them. The UK had no problems just a few years ago blowing up ISIS arms dealers in Syria that had nothing to do with their country. At least in this

The UK historically is no stranger to supporting (and benefiting from) opium wars. They have a history of preferring drugs to flow when it benefits them. It's a sad state of affairs on both sides if you ask me.

Yup. This really needs to be fixed. There have been on-going bug reports on it for years. AMD just needs to move the hdmi 2.1 stuff behind a firmware binary blob already like NVIDIA does. It's so annoying not having full quality HDMI.
