Even when flying intercontinental for many hours, I usually just pull a Puddy on flights and do nothing. I have my laptop with me, of course, but I usually leave it just in the overhead compartment. I don't even watch movies or read.

> Sashiko was able to find around 53% of bugs That's cool. Another interesting metric, however, would be the false positive ratio: like, I could just build a bogus system that simply marks everything as a bug and then claim &quo

I don't have opencode installed, but I'm curious: if you start a terminal within Emacs with M-x term, how well does it do at running the opencode CLI?

Yes, sorry, you're right - I made a mistake looking up how much salt is in a pinch.

Did you get the point about how you usually season meat (with salt) before you eat it? Beyond Beef has 230mg of sodium per 100g (according to their website), even a pinch of salt you add for seasoning easily contains 10x that amount. Also,

I would actually find it surprising if it did match videos of actual C64s on actual CRTs, because of the many conversion layers.

But then you're comparing apples an oranges: meat is low in sodium in its unprocessed form, but so are all the ingredients of the plant-based alternative before adding salt . What matters is not so much the natural form, it is how the

Interesting. About 20 years ago, it must have been the other way around because I remember this paper [1] where the authors were able to speed up the log function by making use of a lookup table in the CPU cache. [1] https://www.

I noticed that OpenCode requires per their own website "a modern terminal emulator" - so, no problem in Emacs? Are you running M-x term?

I write very little code these days, so I've been following the AI development mostly from the backseat. One aspect I fail to grasp perfectly is what the practical differences are between CLI (so terminal-based) agents and ones fully i

I cannot read light on black. I don't know, maybe it's a condition, or simply just part of getting old. But my eyes physically hurt, and when I look up from reading a light-on-black screen, even when I looked at only for a short m

But is this about "habitually work on weekends" or "occasionally attend to an urgent email on a Saturday"? To me, it's not exactly clear from the linked article, but it would be a big difference. That said, we moved

I can relate to that -- perhaps it's a bit the feeling of "missing out", like, when your peers have the time (and energy ;-)) to do fun stuff that you just cannot do because of the kids. But I'm thinking that I had ample
